Stop dreaming and start building text

T

aking that step and committing to a project can be a scary thing! It’s a huge investment, and what if you don’t like it?! Our process starts with the design with construction in mind, and then it’s construction with design in mind. As we work through the creative process, we address real-world cost estimating. We bid the construction process following ‘best practices’ at every stage to ensure the design you are dreaming up fits within the reality of your budget, and the budget you set is realistic to create a lasting process that you will be in love with.

Full Home Remodels

The process and communication involved with a large scale project is more critical than the craft itself. A lot of contractors can do framing, drywall, kitchen and bathroom upgrades, but doing them all at once in an efficient manner is a speciality. Let us help guide you through the process of turning your home into your dream.

Additions

Additions are one of the best ways to add massive value to your home (without doing an actual ADU). Oftentimes, the value added will be more than the cost upon completion. The same care for the process and communication is needed on these large projects as well, and we strive to be the best at it!

About Envision Renovations

After spending over $1,000,000 paying other contractors to work on my homes, I learned two things. First, large home projects are a terrible experience, and second, the one thing that can help is good communication. All the issues that you could imagine dealing with, I have probably gone through. The worst experience was after getting a bid for $110k, and expecting the budget to end up around $150k. Shortly after the start of the project, the GC told me it would probably be closer to $200k, and I kept pushing him for an updated bid. By the time I finally got the updated bid, I had already paid out $140k, and they were saying it was going to be $290k – $300k total to finish the project.

This shook everything I had built up to this point, and I sat down and reevaluated my business. I decided with the experience I had as a homeowner, I could start my own company and offer the experience I wish I had. So with that goal, I started Envision Renovations.
